We take responsibility for the conditions under which our products are made. This includes leather from LWG-certified tanneries, chemical testing under the REACH regulation and social standards based on the amfori BSCI Code of Conduct. Below we set out what that means in practice.

Environmental awareness
Electricity from our own photovoltaic system covers around 90 percent of our power needs at our Deizisau site. For our shipping boxes we use recycled material. Hybrid and electric vehicles reduce the CO₂ emissions of our fleet.

Our production facilities operate according to defined social and environmental requirements. We review these regularly and develop them further together with our customers and production partners.
Social Standards
✓ Code of Conduct
Our collaboration with suppliers and partners is based on the Code of Conduct of amfori BSCI. The code is part of our business relationships and sets out the ethical standards we agree on with our partners.
✓ Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG)
The German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act requires companies above a certain size to respect human rights and environmental standards in their supply chain. We work with our production partners to implement the corresponding due diligence obligations in our supply chain.

Compliance with the REACH regulation is a legal requirement. We commit our production facilities to the Restricted Substances List and have compliance tested regularly by independent testing institutes such as SGS, QIMA and TÜV Rheinland.
✓ Sustainable Water Management
We monitor compliance with wastewater limits at our production facilities. Part of our leather hides are vegetable-tanned.
